I wished it had been a bit busier, but for no cover charge I can't complain (I was there on a Wednesday). The scene may be very different on a busier night, but for the time I was there I was pleased. Personally, I like to see a nice mix of demographics, though I know many other people do not.
The clientele was very variable - both guys in their early 20s all the way up to Social Security recipients. The music though was good - top-20 music and videos on the many televisions strewn throughout the large lounge area. I spent several minutes just admiring the architecture and styling of this old structure, as these sort of things interest me greatly, but I digress! The service was very friendly when I was here, which admittedly was on an off night and thus not that busy. Patrons walk in through a large hallway which I am sure at one time entertained the elite of San Antonio socialites, and never thought it would one day be entertaining the run of San Antonio's gay circuit. There are many rooms, bars, and a large dance floor. It occupies what appears to be an old mansion very close to the Alamo in downtown San Antonio.
This club is one of the more interesting ones I have ever been to.
